The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) and the host Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX), witnessed Ridge Point's football squad knock off Bridgeland by a tally of 38-21.

The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX). The Knights enter the 6A Region III District 21 contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Fort Bend Elkins gained a win over Alief Hastings (Houston, TX), 20-13, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bears confront the Langham Creek Lobos (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 contest, on Friday, September 27. Bridgeland will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Lobos enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 48-10 non-league win over Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX).
