New York High School Football - Calhoun falls to Long Beach
September 14, 2024: Long Beach, NY 11561 The Long Beach Marines felled the visiting Calhoun Colts football team by a score of 28-7 in Saturday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Marines play the Carey Seahawks (Franklin Square, NY) in a Section 8 Conference II challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Long Beach will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Seahawks go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 40-21 non-league win over Glen Cove (Glen Cove, NY).
The Colts (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Jericho (Jericho, NY). The Jayhawks go into the Section 8 Conference II challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Jericho toppled Roslyn/Friends Academy (Roslyn Heights, NY), 25-21, in a league challenge.
