In Saturday's non-league game, the Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) football team were victorious over the visiting Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX), by a score of 31-7.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Cypress Springs Panthers (Cypress, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 game, on Friday, September 20. Cypress Ranch will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 3-0 record after their 60-0 non-league win over Jersey Village (Houston, TX).
