Delaware High School Football - Early College tipped by DuPont
September 14, 2024: Wilmington, DE 19807 DuPont Tigers (Wilmington, DE) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Early College Hornets (Dover, DE), 8-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, DuPont advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Tigers host Christiana (Newark, DE) to encounter the Vikings in a 1A District 1 battle on Friday, September 20. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Christiana lost 35-0 in their recent non-league battle against First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE)
The Hornets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host St. Andrew's for a 1A District 2 battle on Friday, September 20. Early College will encounter a Cardinals team coming off a 42-6 non-league loss to Tatnall (Wilmington, DE). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-2.
