September 14, 2024: Newark, NJ 07103 The Central Blue Devils felled the visiting Glen Ridge Ridgers football team by a score of 36-13 in Saturday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Hudson Catholic Hawks (Jersey City, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Central will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Hawks go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 14-12 non-league win over Hoboken (Hoboken, NJ).
The Ridgers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ). The Hornets go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Hanover Park toppled Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ), 35-7, in a league challenge.
