The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Red Hill Salukis (Bridgeport, IL) and the visiting North Central Thunderbirds (Farmersburg, IN), witnessed Red Hill's football squad edge North Central by a tally of 29-22.

The Salukis (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton (Christopher, IL). The Bearcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton was nudged by Hamilton County (McLeansboro, IL), 24-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Thunderbirds confront the North Knox Warriors (Bicknell, IN) in a Southwest contest, on Friday, September 20. North Central will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
