New Mexico High School Football - Farmington thwarted by Grants
September 14, 2024: Grants, NM 87020 Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM), 22-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Grants improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM) to play the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 0-1.
The Scorpions now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Cleveland for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26. Farmington will play a Storm team coming off a 42-8 non-league win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Storm record now stands at 3-0.
