Ohio High School Football - Newark sneaks past Groveport-Madison
September 14, 2024: Newark, OH 43055 The Newark Wildcats football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Groveport-Madison Cruisers to 10 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Canal Winchester for a non-league test on Saturday, September 28.
With the defeat, Groveport-Madison drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cruisers host Lancaster (Lancaster, OH) to meet the Golden Gales in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Golden Gales come into the test with a record of 0-2.
