New Mexico High School Soccer - Goddard nudges Chaparral
September 14, 2024: Chaparral, NM 88081 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) and the host Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM), saw Goddard's soccer squad hold off Chaparral by a count of 1-0.
The Rockets (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM). The Colts enter the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, New Mexico Military Institute was edged by Artesia (Artesia, NM), 6-3, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Lobos confront the Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Chaparral will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Chaparral (Chaparral, NM).
