September 14, 2024: Portage, MI 49002 Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Caledonia Fighting Scots (Caledonia, MI), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Portage Central moves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Gull Lake (Richland, MI) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Southwestern Michigan - East test on Tuesday, September 17. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 2-6. Gull Lake lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI)
The Fighting Scots now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host East Kentwood for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Caledonia will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 1-1 league West Ottawa (Holland, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 5-3.
