New Jersey High School Soccer - NV - Demarest nudged by Clifton
September 14, 2024: Clifton, NJ 07013 Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting NV - Demarest Norsemen (Demarest, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Clifton moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ) to clash with the Knights in a North Jersey Tri-County B test on Tuesday, September 17. The Knights come into the test with a record of 2-1. Bergen Tech won 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Payne Tech (Newark, NJ)
The Norsemen now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host River Dell for a non-league test on Monday, September 16. NV - Demarest will clash with a Golden Hawks team coming off a 0-0 league Fort Lee (Fort Lee, NJ). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
