Maine High School Soccer - Morse nudges Freeport
September 14, 2024: Bath, ME 04530 The Morse Shipbuilders soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Freeport Falcons to 1 in the Shipbuilders league victory on Saturday.
The Shipbuilders now hold a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Oceanside for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 17. Morse will play a Mariners squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Mariners record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Freeport moves to 0-3 on the year. The Falcons travel to Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME) to play the Capers in a Class B - South bout on Tuesday, September 17. The Capers go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Cape Elizabeth lost 1-0 in their recent league bout against Greely (Cumberland Center, ME)
