Minnesota High School Soccer - Mounds Park Academy nudges Johnson
September 14, 2024: St. Paul, MN 55106 Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Mounds Park Academy Panthers (St. Paul, MN) and the host Johnson Governors (St. Paul, MN), saw Mounds Park Academy's soccer squad hold off Johnson by a count of 2-1.
The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, St. Paul Academy-Summit was edged by Lourdes (Rochester, MN), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Governors battle the Harding Knights (St. Paul, MN) in a Class A Section 4 battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 3-3 non-league Hastings (Hastings, MN).
