Ohio High School Soccer - Sandy Valley knocks off Minerva
September 14, 2024: Minerva, OH 44657 In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Sandy Valley Cardinals soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Minerva Lions.
The Cardinals (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH). The Trojans go into the Inter Valley South outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Tuscarawas Valley got by Fairless (Navarre, OH), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Lions play the Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) in a Northeastern Buckeye outing, on Tuesday, September 17. Minerva will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Dukes go into the outing with a 3-2 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Revere (Richfield, OH).
