September 14, 2024: Springfield, MO 65807 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Pattonville Pirates (Maryland Heights, MO) and the host Parkview Vikings (Springfield, MO), saw Pattonville's soccer squad hold off Parkview by a count of 1-0.
The Pirates (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Carthage (Carthage, MO). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Carthage tipped New Heights Christian Academy (Joplin, MO), 6-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Vikings confront the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish (Springfield, MO) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 14. Parkview will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Fighting Irish enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Nixa (Nixa, MO).
