The New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) volleyball knocked off the visiting First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Poquoson for a Bay Rivers bout on Tuesday, September 17. New Kent will clash with a Islanders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Islanders record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, First Flight drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout on Tuesday, September 17.
