September 14, 2024: Pleasant Grove, AL 35127 Pleasant Grove Spartans (Pleasant Grove, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Pleasant Grove improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Pell City (Pell City, AL) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 5-1. Pell City won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Hueytown (Hueytown, AL)
The Thundering Herd now own a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairfield for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17.
