In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Thunderbird Titans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Valley Vista Monsoon.

The Titans (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Alhambra edged Camelback (Phoenix, AZ), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Monsoon play the Corona del Sol Aztecs (Tempe, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Valley Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Aztecs come into the challenge with a 19-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Hamilton (Chandler, AZ).
