In Thursday's league match, the host George Ranch Longhorns football squad scored a good 23-13 victory over the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Longhorns clash with the Fort Bend Travis Tigers (Richmond, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 match, on Thursday, September 22. George Ranch will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 32-25 league win over Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX).

The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX). The Knights enter the 6A Region III District 20 match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Fort Bend Elkins dropped by Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX), 26-21, in a league match.
