Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Boone Grove Wolves (Valparaiso, IN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Red Devils face the Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Lowell will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Crown Point (Crown Point, IN).

The Wolves now have a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wheeler for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 17. Boone Grove will face a Bearcats team coming off a 1-1 league Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-7.
