North Carolina High School Volleyball - Alexander Central can't hold off West Iredell
September 15, 2022: Taylorsville, NC 28681 In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting West Iredell Warriors volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Alexander Central Cougars.
The Warriors (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Mustangs come into the Western Foothills 3A battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, East Lincoln nudged Statesville (Statesville, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A battle, on Monday, September 19. Alexander Central will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Pioneers come into the battle with a 10-1 record after their 3-0 league win over South Caldwell (Hudson, NC).
