September 15, 2022: Socorro, NM 87801 The Quemado Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Socorro Warriors to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountainair for a non-league game on Saturday, September 17. Quemado will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Reserve (Reserve, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-4.
The Warriors (2-8) will now prepare for their game against Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Sundevils enter the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Sandia Prep defeated Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0, in a non-league game.
