The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles held off the host Stephens County Indians volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Eagles now have a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's for a non-league test on Saturday, September 17. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee will confront a team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC). The record now stands at 5-4.

The Indians (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Warriors enter the 3A Area 8 test with a 23-4 record. In their last test, Oconee County held off Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
