North Carolina High School Football - Alexander Central crushed by Sun Valley
September 15, 2023: Monroe, NC 28110 Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC), 48-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Sun Valley improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Friday, September 22. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 1-3. Charlotte Country Day School won 30-27 in their recent non-league test against North Cross (Roanoke, VA)
With the loss, Alexander Central drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC) to battle the Huskies in a Northwestern 3A/4A test on Friday, September 29. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 3-1.
