Oklahoma High School Football - Shawnee can't get by Blanchard
September 15, 2023: Blanchard, OK 73010 Blanchard Lions (Blanchard, OK) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Shawnee Wolves (Shawnee, OK), 34-31 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Blanchard improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Harrah (Harrah, OK) to confront the Panthers in a 4A District 2 test on Friday, September 22. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-0. Harrah won 45-6 in their recent non-league test against Seminole (Seminole, OK)
With the loss, Shawnee drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Bishop McGuinness (Oklahoma City, OK) to confront the Fighting Irish in a 5A District 2 test on Thursday, September 21. The Fighting Irish come into the test with a record of 2-1. Bishop McGuinness lost 24-7 in their recent non-league test against Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK)
