The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA) and the visiting Boron Bobcats (Boron, CA), observed Rio Hondo Prep's football squad bounce Boron by a count of 42-6.

The Kares now own a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Torrance for a non-league contest on Friday, September 22. Rio Hondo Prep will encounter a Tartars squad coming off a 41-0 non-league win over Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA). The Tartars record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Bobcats encounter the Bishop Union Broncos (Bishop, CA) in a High Desert contest, on Friday, September 29. Boron will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
