The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA) and the visiting Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), observed Las Plumas's football squad bounce Central Valley by a count of 48-12.

The Thunderbirds now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to University Prep for a non-league contest on Friday, September 22. Las Plumas will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 63-6 non-league win over McKinleyville (McKinleyville, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Falcons encounter the Willows Honkers (Willows, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 29. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
