The Charlton County Indians football team (Folkston, GA), was ripped 48-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA)

The Bears (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA). The Herons come into the AA Region 3 challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Brantley County was ripped by Johnson (Savannah, GA), 18-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dublin for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 29. Charlton County will meet a Fighting Irish team coming off a 28-0 non-league win over Metter (Metter, GA). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 3-1.
