The Trinity Hillers held off the host Connellsville Falcons football team by a count of 41-40 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Trinity upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Hillers host McKeesport (McKeesport, PA) to confront the Tigers in a WPIAL AAAA Big Seven outing on Friday, September 22. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 3-1. McKeesport won 55-3 in their recent league outing against Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA)

With the loss, Connellsville moves to 2-2 on the season. The Falcons travel to Ringgold (Monongahela, PA) to confront the Rams in a WPIAL AAAA Big Seven outing on Friday, September 22. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Ringgold lost 48-8 in their recent non-league outing against West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA)
