In Friday's non-league match, the host Dutchtown Griffins football squad scored a big 38-0 victory over the Covington Lions.

In their next game, the Griffins clash with the Carver Collegiate Academy Rams (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 29. Dutchtown will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record.

The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA). The Green Wave enter the 5A District 6 match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Ponchatoula routed St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA), 49-6, in a non-league match.
