Iowa High School Football - Davenport North succumbs to Waterloo West
September 15, 2023: Waterloo, IA 50702 The Waterloo West Wahawks thwarted the visiting Davenport North Wildcats football team by a count of 19-3 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the triumph, Waterloo West improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wahawks travel to Northwest (Waukee, IA) to battle the Wolves in a 5A Group 4 test on Friday, September 22. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 2-2. Northwest lost 31-17 in their recent non-league test against Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA)
With the loss, Davenport North drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Davenport Central (Davenport, IA) to battle the Blue Devils in a 5A Group 3 test on Friday, September 22. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 1-3. Davenport Central lost 27-3 in their recent non-league test against Davenport West (Davenport, IA)
