The Edsel Ford Thunderbirds football team (Dearborn, MI), was beaten 42-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host Trenton Trojans (Trenton, MI)

The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI). The Bears come into the Downriver challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Roosevelt was beaten by Carlson (Gibraltar, MI), 55-7, in a league challenge.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Allen Park for a Downriver challenge on Friday, September 22. Edsel Ford will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 44-14 league win over Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-0.
