In Friday's league game, the Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) football team knocked off the host New London Whalers (New London, CT), by a final score of 34-21.

The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their game against North Haven (North Haven, CT). The Nighthawks come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, North Haven toppled Sheehan (Wallingford, CT), 31-21, in a non-league game.
