South Carolina High School Football - Lake City prevails Georgetown
September 15, 2023: Lake City, SC 29560 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Lake City Panthers (Lake City, SC) and the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC), observed Lake City's football squad defeat Georgetown by a count of 33-3.
The Panthers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Camden for a AAA Region 6 contest on Friday, September 22. Lake City will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 52-27 non-league win over A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the Waccamaw Warriors (Pawley's Island, SC) in a AAA Region 7 contest, on Friday, September 29. Georgetown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 23-18 non-league win over Andrews (Andrews, SC).
