In Friday's non-league match, the host Gloucester Fishermen football squad scored a good 17-8 victory over the Weston Wildcats.

In their next game, the Fishermen clash with the St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians (Fitchburg, MA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 22. Gloucester will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Bernardians enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 22-20 non-league loss to Northbridge (Whitinsville, MA).
