The Grace Academy (Georgetown, TX) varsity football team won Friday's home non-conference game against Town East Christian (San Antonio, TX) by a score of 38-28.
The Grace Academy football squad scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Town East Christian Eagles to 28 in the non-league triumph on Friday.
The (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against CenTex HomeSchool (Temple, TX). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, CenTex HomeSchool was beaten by Austin Royals HomeSchool (Austin, TX), 63-36, in a league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arlington Heights Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22. Town East Christian will meet a Lions team coming off a 34-28 non-league loss to Annapolis Christian Academy (Corpus Christi, TX). The Lions record now stands at 3-1.
