In Friday's non-league match, the host Red Lion Christian Academy Lions football squad scored a good 28-6 victory over the Lake Forest Spartans.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the St. Mark's Spartans (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 21. Red Lion Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 34-30 non-league win over Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE).
