California High School Football - Norwalk held off by Linfield Christian

In Friday's non-league game, the Linfield Christian Lions (Temecula, CA) football team tipped the visiting Norwalk Lancers (Norwalk, CA), by a score of 22-20.

The Lions (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Eagles come into the Mesquite game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Capistrano Valley Christian got by Santa Rosa Academy (Menifee, CA), 7-6, in a non-league game.

The Lancers now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Locke for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Norwalk will battle a Saints team coming off a 54-0 non-league loss to Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA). The Saints record now stands at 0-4.
