Indiana High School Football - Maconaquah held off by Peru

September 15, 2023: Bunker Hill, IN 46914

In Friday's league game, the Peru Tigers (Peru, IN) football team tipped the host Maconaquah Braves (Bunker Hill, IN), by a final score of 27-26.

The Tigers (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Rochester (Rochester, IN). The Zebras come into the Three Rivers game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Rochester got by Lewis Cass (Walton, IN), 44-6, in a league game.

The Braves now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Huntington North for a non-league game on Friday, September 15. Maconaquah will battle a Vikings team coming off a 55-27 league loss to Columbia City (Columbia City, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 0-4.
