The West Branch Warriors football team (Morrisdale, PA), was beaten 50-27 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA)

The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Black Knights/Damsels come into the Inter-County - North challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Moshannon Valley achieved victory over Glendale (Flinton, PA), 24-6, in a league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Juniata Valley for a Inter-County - North challenge on Friday, September 22. West Branch will meet a Hornets team coming off a 27-6 league win over Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 4-0.
