The Riverside Pirates thwarted the visiting Northridge Polar Bears football team by a count of 48-20 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to Troy Christian (Troy, OH) to confront the Eagles in a Three Rivers outing on Friday, September 22. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Troy Christian lost 29-6 in their recent league outing against Milton-Union (West Milton, OH)

With the loss, Northridge moves to 1-4 on the season. The Polar bears travel to Covington (Covington, OH) to confront the Buccs in a Three Rivers outing on Friday, September 22. The Buccs go into the outing with a record of 0-5. Covington lost 29-6 in their recent league outing against Bethel (Tipp City, OH)
