September 15, 2023: Jackson, TN 38305 The University School of Jackson Bruins football team (Jackson, TN), was knocked off 28-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN)
The Hornets (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chester County (Henderson, TN). The Eagles come into the 4A Region 6 challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Chester County knocked off Jackson South Side (Jackson, TN), 27-0, in a league challenge.
The Bruins now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. George's for a Division II-AA West challenge on Friday, September 22. University School of Jackson will meet a Gryphons team coming off a 50-7 non-league loss to Davidson Academy (Nashville, TN). The Gryphons record now stands at 1-4.
