September 15, 2025: Hampton, VA 23663 Phoebus Phantoms (Hampton, VA) followers went home pleased Monday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA), 41-0 in a non-league match.
The Phantoms (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Kecoughtan was routed by Heritage (Newport News, VA), 28-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Bethel Bruins (Hampton, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 22. Denbigh will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bruins come into the match with a 2-1 record after their 42-24 non-league loss to Warwick (Newport News, VA).
