Maryland High School Football - South Carroll thwarted by Liberty
September 15, 2025: Sykesville, MD 21784 Liberty Lions (Sykesville, MD) followers went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD), 30-20 in a non-league match.
The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record.
Coming up next, the Cavaliers confront the Century Knights (Sykesville, MD) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 24. South Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
