Delaware High School Football - William Penn trounced by St. Georges Tech
September 15, 2025: New Castle, DE 19720 St. Georges Tech Hawks (Middletown, DE) followers went home pleased Monday as they saw their football team triumph over the host William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE), 34-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, St. Georges Tech advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hawks host Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE) to play the Golden Knights in a non-league battle on Monday, November 3. The Golden Knights go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Sussex Central won 32-14 in their recent non-league battle against Smyrna (Smyrna, DE)
The Colonials now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Dover for a non-league battle on Monday, October 6. William Penn will confront a Senators squad coming off a 42-0 non-league loss to Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE). The Senators record now stands at 1-1.
