Oregon High School Football - Taft can't hold off Warrenton
September 15, 2025: Warrenton, OR 97146 Warrenton Warriors (Warrenton, OR) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR), 24-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Warrenton improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors host Kennedy (Mt. Angel, OR) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-1. Kennedy lost 28-7 in their recent non-league test against Gervais (Gervais, OR)
With the defeat, Taft drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Dayton (Dayton, OR) to meet the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 22. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
