North Carolina High School Soccer - Pinecrest nudges Hoggard
September 15, 2025: Southern Pines, NC 28387 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) and the visiting Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC), saw Pinecrest's soccer squad hold off Hoggard by a count of 1-0.
The Patriots (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers enter the battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Jack Britt tipped Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Vikings battle the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 18. Hoggard will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC).
