September 15, 2025: Chicago Heights, IL 60411 The Bloom Blazing Trojan held off the visiting Plainfield East Bengals soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next, the Blazing Trojan clash with the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) in a SICA bout, on Tuesday, September 16. Bloom will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Kays go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Fenton (Bensenville, IL).
With the loss, Plainfield East moves to 3-7 on the year. The Bengals travel to Joliet Central (Joliet, IL) to play the Steelmen in a Suburban Prairie bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Steelmen go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Joliet Central won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL)
