Illinois High School Soccer - Nazareth Academy toppled by Plainfield Central
September 15, 2025: Plainfield, IL 60544 Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Plainfield Central moves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Joliet West (Joliet, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a Suburban Prairie test on Tuesday, September 16. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Joliet West 2-2 in their recent league outing against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL)
Next up, the Roadrunners confront the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic outing, on Wednesday, September 17. Nazareth Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the outing with a 5-3 record after their 1-1 non-league Kelly (Chicago, IL).
