September 15, 2025: Bethesda, MD 20817 Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD), 3-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Whitman moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Wootton (Rockville, MD) to play the Patriots in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 17. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Wootton lost 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD) in a Class 4A West II test, on Thursday, September 18. Walter Johnson will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
